Itinerary
Begin your adventure with a scenic drive from Pokhara to Tatopani, passing through charming hillside villages and terraced farmlands. After a brief stop in Tatopani—famous for its natural hot springs—continue on a rugged off-road journey by 4WD Jeep toward Humkhola. This is a remote highland area surrounded by lush forests and mountain vistas. Overnight camping near Humkhola sets the tone for the wilderness experience ahead.
Start your day with a gradual ascent through dense rhododendron and pine forests, crossing wooden bridges and narrow trails. As you climb higher, you’ll leave the tree line behind and encounter more alpine terrain with occasional wildlife sightings. Arrive at Busket Mela, a remote and peaceful meadow surrounded by Himalayan giants. Settle into your campsite and enjoy a warm meal under the stars.
Today’s trek leads you deeper into the high alpine zone with magnificent views of Annapurna and its neighboring peaks. The trail becomes more rugged and exposed, giving a true sense of isolation and remoteness. Your campsite at around 4080 meters offers a surreal setting with dramatic landscapes and a sense of untouched wilderness. Rest and acclimatize for your journey to the base camp the next day.
This is the highlight of the trek. Embark on a final ascent to reach the awe-inspiring North Annapurna Base Camp—a seldom-visited sanctuary nestled at the base of Annapurna’s northern face. Take time to enjoy the views, reflect, and capture the moment. After spending some time at the base camp, retrace your steps and meet your 4WD vehicle for a return drive to Tatopani. Enjoy the comforts of lower altitude and optional hot spring relaxation.
After breakfast, board your private 4WD for a scenic drive back to Pokhara. Watch the landscapes transform from rugged highlands to lush mid-hills. The trip concludes upon arrival in Pokhara, where you can relax and celebrate your unforgettable Himalayan adventure.
